Stone Energy

As we all know, everything created in this Universe is a form of energy and this energy is transmitted through subtle vibrations. For years now I’ve been fascinated by the energy vibrations of stones and their healing properties. When we are attracted to a particular stone, unconsciously we are feeling an attraction to the subtle frequency of its energy vibrations as well as its appearance. That is one reason our so called tastes or attractions can change as our energy needs change.
For example, there was a period in my life where I was attracted to hematite. When I did research on this stone, I found that one of hematite’s healing properties is its ability to dissolve negative energy and transform that dissolved energy into Universal love. At the time, I was being bombarded by a very negative person on a daily basis.
Since ancient times, precious and semi precious stones have been revered for their healing properties and their ability to gently adjust or attune one’s personal energy when carried or worn. For several decades science has used Quartz crystal for technology because of the type of energy it emits. Vedic astrologers include gem remedies as part of their services. They believe stones can adjust a negative planetary aspect by attuning the individual’s energy or vibrations to the planets beneficial vibrations, thus turning a negative into a positive.
Here is a list of some of the better known precious and semi precious stones with a few of their healing and beneficial energy properties.
Garnet “Stone of Health”-It extracts negative energy from the chakras and transforms the energy to a beneficial state.
Amethyst “Stone of Spirituality and Contentment”-enhances easier transformation of lower energies into higher frequencies of both the spiritual and ethereal levels. It represents principles of complete metamorphosis.
Aquamarine “Stone of Courage”-Helps with anxiety, fear, and restlessness.
Diamond - Manifests abundance.
Emerald “Stone of Successful Love”-Enhances memory, promotes clear quick thinking and right action from right thinking.
Moonstone – Helps with psychic work. Draws love and assists relationships.
Pearl “Stone of Sincerity”-Quickens the law of karma, brings truth to situations and loyalty to a cause.
Ruby “Stone of Nobility”-Gathers and amplifies energy, promotes mental concentration.
Peridot-Regulates physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and life cycles.
Sapphire “Stone of Prosperity”-Sustains gifts of life, focusing and radiating energy without one’s conscious initiation.
Opal-Provides inspiration, stimulates imagination and helps one to recognize their creativity.
Topaz “Stone of True Love & Success in Endeavors”-Works with laws of attraction manifestation.
Turquoise-Spiritual attunement, healing, cleansing and protection.
Lapis Lazuli “Stone of Total Awareness”-Assists in expanding awareness, intellectual capacity; helps conscious attunement to one’s intuitive and psychic.
Our ancestors were knowledgeable on natures healing abilities, but over time societies moved away from nature, even destroyed it in many areas, and we lost contact with this knowledge. Fortunately, we are becoming reacquainted with nature and its benefits on our world and ourselves.

Awesome article! I am glad to find another who put faith in the strength of stones and crystals. I always have one or more floating around in my aura somewhere. I used to tutor and would recommend a nice hematite to all the stressed out students facing their finals and board exams.
