Clairsentient Feelings

I have always been able to feel things that are not visible to the physical eye. This is a sensitivity to information that is processed through the senses called Clairsentience. The recognition of Clairsentience and its uses are fairly recent, where Clairvoyance and Clairaudience has been recognized much longer.

If you remember the hippies from the 60s, then you will remember their use of terms such as “bad vibes,” etc. Of course this refers to the vibrational flow of energy that people, plants, animals and objects give off. Unless there is a cleansing performed, these vibrations can remain on an object, in a room or an area long after the cause of this energy has left. For example, have you experienced going into a house and feel an instant good or possibly an uncomfortable, maybe even a foreboding feeling? Do you know of someone who after a loved one passed, started wearing an item such as a watch or ring that had belonged to the departed because it makes them feel closer to the one they lost? These are some of the examples of the energy that can remain after the source is gone.

Through Clairsentience I have read thoughts, feelings of others, felt positive or negative energy in an area or surrounding a person and so on. I’m also able to ‘see’ and ‘hear’ the information I receive. As one develops and strengthens one ability, other abilities will develop and grow stronger as well.

I wrote about one of my earliest Clairsentient experience’s in the post called Are Spirits Real. At various times throughout my life I have experienced tickles, taps on shoulders, thighs, kisses on my cheek and felt as though someone sat on my bed during the night.

Some might say this is just an overactive imagination. I’ve heard that explanation since childhood and no matter how much I would tell myself that it was my imagination, it didn’t stop my experiences. Over time, I got validation of what I was experiencing. Do I ever question an experience at the time it happens? Yes, I do. There’s always the question, did I really feel something, or did that really happen? Over time, you learn to tell the difference and then to trust.

Some people have told me stories where they were institutionalized because people around them didn’t understand their special ability.

What experiences have you had that you felt people might not understand or told you that it’s just your imagination?
