Clairsentience

Clairsentience has often been confused with empathy, (the ability to feel emotions of others), and has been associated with psychometry, which is the ability to sense energy that surrounds objects and know its history by touching or holding the item. Usually personal objects like watches, rings, keys or other personal items are used for psychometry.

Clairsentience is all these abilities because information can be received through the emotions of people and by sensing the energy of objects. Clairsentience is that and much more.

Information can also come through other senses such as smell (odors that no one else is able to smell), and taste, along with the physical sensations triggered by places, (good or bad sensations when you walk into a room, etc.) objects and people. Clairsentients also experience inner feelings of knowing events that are unknown at the time (gut instincts).

Buddha believed that Clairsentience was the greatest ability one gained on their journey to enlightenment.

That concept would be based on one having successfully developed all aspects of Clairsentience, such as empathy, (which should be considered the first or basic element), psychometry and telepathy, (the communication of thoughts, feelings and ideas from one mind to another).

Everyone is born with the natural subtle abilities of one type or another. If one accepts and develops their ability, and not dispel them as coincidences or an overactive imagination, will discover that other abilities will start to develop and become stronger as well.

When people hear the word enlightenment, they automatically think this is achieved only through spiritual knowledge and practice. Few realize the path to enlightenment is also about getting to know the real you and your true inner potential. It’s when you practice both of these aspects that you are truly able to make progress toward enlightenment and therefore, improve your life.

What does enlightenment have to do with psychic or the natural innate abilities that all of us are born with? Whatever your natural ability is, Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, empathy, Clairsentience, etc., it’s a reminder that we are more than just a physical body. Paying attention to these subtle signs will guide you to discovering and developing your true inner power.
